Videofied is a video verification product that enables Signature Security Group to verify a genuine security emergency within moments of it occurring. Videofied brings you real time video alarm monitoring allowing our Security Response Centre to see what caused your alarm and assess the action needed to be taken.
How Videofied Works
The P-Cam (integrated motion sensor/camera) captures a 10 second video as soon as the alarm is activated; it then sends the video to our monitoring station where an alarm response operator evaluates what happens next.
Police and other emergency services require verification of an emergency before attending on site so using Video Verification helps you make informed choices about what action to take when our Alarm Response Centre contacts you.

Video Verification In Action
The below videos show footage from a recent burglary at a Signature Security customers' premises. In the first video you can see two intruders who have set off the alarm. The footage was then sent to our Security Response Centre who verified that the persons on the premises were in fact intruders, the Security Response Centre then alerted the police - who you can see in the second video. The offenders were caught and arrested.
False Alarms
One of the key benefits of Video Verification is that it reduces false alarms, saving you time and money on patrols and guard costs. The video below shows how a horse wandered in from a neighbouring paddock into a customers' grounds and set off the alarm. When our Alarm Response Operators reviewed the footage of the horse with clients, they knew it was a false alarm and there was no need to send out costly guards or patrols.
