Howard Watson – Chief Executive Officer

Howard Watson - Signature Security Group

Howard Watson is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years experience in finance including leading numerous IPOs. Howard has 13 years experience in the security industry, the last 11 years as CEO of Signature Security and the previous 2 years as CFO of Signature. 

Howard has directed over 80 acquisitions, including the integration of financial, sales, operational and human resource systems and procedures making Signature one of the leaders in the security industry in Australia and New Zealand. He has a proven track record in building profitable sustainable business models. He has led numerous fundraising projects including equity, senior bank facilities and subordinated facilities. 

In January 2006, Howard led the sale process of Signature Security Group to Allco Equity Partners (now Oceania Capital Partners) and remains CEO of Signature and a member of the Board. 

 

Roger Jowett - Chief Operating Officer Australia

Roger Jowett - Signature Security GroupRoger Jowett is Chief Operating Officer - Australia for Signature Security Group. He joined Signature in December 2007. Roger has held various leadership positions in major fire and security businesses in the UK and Continental Europe. He came to Australia in 2003 to head up a leading electronic security business. Roger has significant market development and acquisition experience; he has driven business growth and profit improvement through the execution of Service Excellence programs and post-acquisition integration.

Roger has over 18 years of fire and security industry experience. He has held committee positions on Trade Associations in the UK and France and represented the UK on Eurofeu Standards meetings. Roger has a BA Honours Degree, Marketing Diploma and is an MBA graduate of Henley Management College. 

 

Marc Killeen - Chief Operating Officer New Zealand

Marc Killeen - Signature Security Group

Marc Killeen is Chief Operating Officer - New Zealand for Signature Security Group. Marc joined Signature Security twelve years ago as Melbourne Operations Manager. Marc was appointed to the role of General Manager Melbourne/Adelaide in 2001. During his time in the GM role, Marc achieved significant bottom line growth and overall cost reduction through the constant pursuit of giving the customer greater value than expected and by ensuring that team culture was aligned with overall business objectives. In 2003 Marc was appointed to the role of Group General Manager Operations, a position which he held until moving into his current role in 2008.

Marc has more than 20 years of industry experience and has been involved in many aspects of the security industry including the assessment, design, installation, and project management of complex integrated security applications. Marc holds a number of industry specific accreditations, and was one of the committee members appointed by Standards Australia that undertook the review of Intruder Detection & CCTV standard for both Australia and New Zealand.

 

 Frank van Bokhoven - Group General Manager Finance

Frank van BokhovenAs Group General Manager Finance, Frank has overall responsibility for planning, controlling and directing the financial operations to support management decision-making and control. Frank joined Signature in August 1998 but more recently has assisted with the sale of the company and refinancing of the senior bank facility. He has supervised the implementation of a new financial and payroll system, consolidation of the Australian and New Zealand accounting departments, significant improvement of reporting output and deadlines and successfully completed various external audits.
 
Frank has over 18 years experience in the accounting and finance field.  He started his career in audit with KPMG in the Netherlands and after his migration to Australia in December 1995 continued with KPMG Sydney. His audit clients ranged from small businesses to large multinational companies in the production, transport, trade and service industries. Frank is qualified as a Dutch and Australian Chartered Accountant.

 

Kim Rose - Group General Manager Sales 

Kim Rose - Signature Security GroupKim Rose joined Signature in November 2004 with responsibility for developing a customer focused sales organisation. Kim has a background in sales and organisational effectiveness with over 20 years work experience in I.T. across the UK, Australia and Asia Pacific. He has worked for multi nationals in a broad range of management roles including sales, product management, change management and learning and development.

Prior to joining Signature, Kim spent six years with The Forum Corporation as a Senior Consultant working with and consulting to organisations including Cathay Pacific, Telstra, Optus, Westpac, AMP, Deloitte, KPMG and Price Waterhouse Coopers. 

Leanne Mitchell - Group General Manager Client Services

Leanne Mitchell - Signature Security GroupLeanne Mitchell joined Signature Security in May 2007 and is responsible for leading the Group’s customer service and retention strategy.

Leanne has over 20 years experience in financial services and working indirectly with a range of businesses. She has a background in sales and account management, strategy, project management and in developing and managing initiatives to improve customer retention and the overall customer experience for businesses. Developing service excellence across all aspects of our business is critical to Signature’s vision of providing the right solutions and the best service for our customers.

Leanne is a Member of National institute of Accountants, FINSIA (Fellow) and holds an MBA (Dist) from UWS.   
  

Marisa Piombo - Group General Manager Marketing and Communications

Marisa Piombo is a Marketing and Communications specialist with 20 years experience in Business to Business and Business to Consumer Marketing. She holds a Bachelor of Management (International Marketing) and her experience has been across product and service industries in both the public and private sectors. 
 
Marisa joined Signature Security in August 2007, and has overall responsibility for the Group's Strategic Marketing development, as well as campaign development and execution, internal and external communication management and implementation of systems and processes to assist with ROI and market analysis. Prior to joining Signature, she has worked in the Property Sector, Health, Aged Care, Education and Training, Transport and Primary Industries and well as being a Marketing Consultant providing advice to a broader customer base including Manufacturing and Consumables. 

Tim Armstrong - Group General Manager HR, Safety and Compliance

Tim Armstrong Human Resource Manager Signature Security GroupTim Armstrong joined Signature in 2006 as Group General Manager HR, Safety and Compliance.

Tim has Bachelor degrees in Arts/Law and a Masters in Business Administration.  Tim has over 15 years experience in private practice and was the HR Manager on the $1.5b Westlink M7 civil infrastructure project.

Teamwork is Tim’s focus and supporting staff to create an environment of trust, support and transparency that allows true teams to emerge and exceed their goals.  

Glenn Harris - Group General Manager I.T and Procurement

Glenn joined Signature Security 12 years ago as Perth Control Room Manager via one of Signature’s first acquisitions of Consolidated Security Systems.

In 2003 Glenn was given the position of the Sydney Operations Manager overseeing the Sales, Service and installation areas of the business as well as alarm monitoring.  In 2007 Glenn was appointed to the I.T department and was part of the team that implemented a full Disaster Recovery solution across the enterprise. 

Glenn has 20 years of industry experience and has been involved in all aspects of the security industry from static guard, mobile patrols, monitoring, installation, servicing and sales assessment, design, installation, and project management of complex integrated security applications. 

 

Armin Morrison - General Manager Human Resources NZ

Armin Morrison - Signature Security GroupArmin joined Signature 10 years ago and was responsible for the initial set up of the Group’s human resources function.

Having already gained her Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Human Resources, Armin went on to gain her MBA in 2003 and has been a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ) since 1999 and joined the Association for Compliance Professionals (Australia) in 2000.

Already possessing a wealth of experience in sales before joining Signature, Armin spent three years in the role of General Manager Northern Region before settling back into her existing role of General Manager Human Resources for New Zealand.
